Andrei Zmievski [1] pointed me to the mod_auth_sqlite [2] by Ikebe Tomohiro [3], an Apache 1.3.x module that allows authentication from the information stored in an SQLite database. You might also like to have a look at mod_auth_mysql for either Apache2 [4].
Actually, Ikebe Tomohiro and I developed SQLite authentication modules for Apache independent of each other. I only learned about his implementation after I finished mine. They have differing features as well.
Well, I did actually recognize this just right after posting that entry ;) Having read about mod_auth_sqlite on your site, I was searching in parallel for "mod_auth_sqlite" in google and came across Ikebes work. So of course, I do will also link [1] to your download, since it can only be a benefit for all Apache-Sqlite users. Thanx.
