YAWC is a plug-in for Microsoft Word that enables conversion of documents into XML and HTML [1]. There is a limited free version available. YAWC Lite exports Word according to the Simplified Docbook by Norman Walsh [2].
The University of Geneva does something similar for Framemaker [3].
