Crypto Law Survey

Crypto Law Survey [1] is a survey of existing and proposed laws and regulations on cryptography – systems used for protecting information against unauthorized access.

So if you want to stunnel from France to England, one need to check if there are restrictions on cypher
strength by choosing weaker algorithms.

Example for allowed 40bit crypto:
fritz$ openssl ciphers -v EXPORT40

For Switzerland:
Crypto import is not controlled. Import certificates will be given if the country of origin requires this.
The export of cryptography is regulated by the Goods Control Decree of 25 June 1997 (Verordnung über die Aus-, Ein- und Durchfuhr zivil und militärisch verwendbarer Güter sowie besonderer militärischer Güter) [2].
