SVG in Firefox
Mozilla (wiki) - urs @ 10:15:18

To be able to have SVG support in Firefox on Windows I had to move the NPSVG6.dll from the SVG Viewer 6.0 plugins directory to the Firefox plugins directory. A quick look at about:plugins revealed the available SVG support afterwards.

Ich zahle demjenigen am nächsten Bloggertreffen ein Bier, der mir eine SVG in der Wildnis zeigen kann, d.h. eine SVG auf irgendeiner Webseite die sich nicht mit SVG schreiben beschäftigt.

Ok, das macht dann ein Bier für Leo.

Ich bin gerade überrascht, ich wollte losranten wie die Technologie kaum verbreitet ist und bemerke nun dass der Internet Explorer ein Adobe-Plugin benutzt um SVGs darzustellen. D.h. man könnte derartige Grafiken eigentlich benutzen (Wenn es einem egal ist Firefox- und Mac-User etc. auszusperren.)

Sodipodi und Inkscape sind zwei Open Source SVG Editoren, die es sich mal anzuschauen lohnt:
