oslo 1996

This is/was one of my favorite T-shirts which I got at the Oslo Jazz Festival in 1996 while working in Oslo at the Norwegian Tax Office [1]. I started to moblog gadget that I intend to get rid off due to whatever reason – in case of this T-shirt; it was just worn out 😉

At that festival I hear Nils Landgren Funk Unit [2] for the very first time. I talked to him later at the bar and asked him, if he ever played in Switzerland and motivated him to visit us, since there are quite some Funk fans around here. Some years later Nils played at the Moods in Zürich, the Montreux Jazz Festival etc. etc. Looking back, I should have organized a concert somewhere in Biel or Berne just after coming back from Norway ;-P
