[via mobilewhack, 1] Well, BlueFOAF finds nearby friends with via bluetooth; Edd [2] has written BlueFOAF with Python [3] for Linux. It is just a guess, but if the bluetooth in a Nokia 60 Series is accessible for Python, why should BlueFOAF not work on mobile phones?
So, if you do not know the person in a restaurant next to you, having his or her mobile phone with enabled bluetooth on the table, you might probably know one of his or her friends and get in contact that way. Imagine how that will stare at you, if you ask:
